It was a afternoon spring at "la Lucila" reserve, in Buenos Aires province, these birds are often saw in these environments, but that moment was magic. Chacarita Cemetery in Buenos Aires is over 100 years old. Founded when the upscale Recoletta Cemetery refused to allow yellow fever victims be buried, the cemetery has 12 acres and is the final resting place for much of Argentina's artisan community
This photo was taken in Argentina while my husband and I, on our bikes, were approaching El Chalten, a small town at the foot of Mount Fitz Roy. I still remember the emotion felt at the gigantism of these mountains on the edge of Argentina. We were preparing to begin the crossing in Chile to pedal on the legendary Carretera Austral.
My wife and me are 65 years old and enjoy treeking and nature.About one year ago we gone to Esmeralda lagoon at several miles from Ushuaia city in Tierra del Fuego.We use Photopills to follow the 10 km path to the distal end of the lagoon with respect to the Ojos del Albino glacial. We gone trought forests, peat, mud, rock, snow and may saw several beaver dams.We get tired but we enjoy every instant, every sight, every foot pain and every effort made.Here when we just arrived at Esmeralda lagoon
