These are voluntary fires before the harvest of the sugar cane! Traditionally, the fields of sugar cane are burned to scare off snakes and other venomous animals, and facilitate the access of the cutters to cleared up fields and clear the stalks of their dead leaves and parasitic plants. These spectacular fires burn intensely and go out very quickly.

Here is one of our new projects of development aid in Burkina Faso: the implementation of a class of learning sewing.

We have this year, thanks to the financial support of two friends, implement a training class sewing (10 months training + passing an exam that will be recognized by the Ministry of Education) to Wassengdo school, a very poor neighborhood in Ouaga
