cottage whispering one last tale

cottage whispering one last tale by Akbar&Armaghan

As I set out on my mountain hike, the memories of my first spotlight photo at this very same location during the same season filled my mind. However, as i began my ascent, couldn't shake the discomfort in my neck!

Despite the pain, i decided to continue with my plan, motivated by the desire to reach my destination and pay tribute to my past memories. The ascent was grueling, every step becoming more difficult than the last.

However, when i finally arrived at my destination and gazed upon the stunning view, all my struggles were worth it. i took out my camera and captured the same scene that had once inspired me to take my very first spotlight photo on aminus3 11 years ago!

My fear of death is not in vain, there is no other world, and the only trace we have left is in this world, so be useful and live as long as we live.

Here is a lagoon in north of Iran annually filled with migrant birds from north of Europe and Siberia for their winter stay. I usually come to this location to visit them and enjoy their lifestyle and habits and also to take some photos which are usually similar to their last years counterparts:)
it was a beautiful sunrise coloring and warming the swans bodies more and more and conquering that blue tones of the dusk resulted to the violet tones of this picture.

Liliputs of Iran! by Parisa Riahivafa /پریسا ریاحی وفا

Posted on 2022-12-12

Az a Street/Documentary Photographer I traveled a lot. But this place and people are so different from anywhere I went before! Makhunik is a village in South Khorasan Province, Iran. Village is about 35 kilometers far from Afghanistan border. In ancient times this area is famous for short heights or dwarf living here. They are famous as Liliputs of Iran!
With a simple search on the internet you can find more information about the village but going there is a totally different experience.
The poor people, hopeless parents and no good future children is the most you can see! Every people has a deep story and I will never forget non of their faces.

Last photo of my 10 year old friend Canon 60d!
I was standing by the sea on the lovely beach of Mogham in the Persian Gulf, south of Iran.the sea seemed calm and the sun was shining in the sky. I love reflexes and by bringing the camera closer to sea level I tried to reflect these strange rocks on those smooth watery sands, but a not so strong wave hit my back and unfortunately a little water fell on the camera. I quickly lifted the camera and the shot was oblique. I did not even expect a major problem to occur, but later it seemed that the body was completely damaged and unrepairable. In short, this was the sad story of my lost camera. bye friend.thanks for your intimate presence.

Maharloo Lake (namak)

Maharloo Lake (namak) by Behzad

Posted on 2021-05-22

Maharloo Lake (Persian: دریاچه مهارلو‎) is a salt lake in the the area of Shiraz, Iran.

The lake is filled with flood water from the Rudkhane-ye-Khoshk river which flows through the city of Shiraz and is seasonally high from heavy rains.

By end of summer, the lake water will typically evaporate to expose the white lake bed beneath. In mid-summer the lake water turns pinkish red as a result of the red-tide within the lake and the evaporation rates.
