Seoul, South Korea
It was a protest. The demonstrators were taking the 100th day anniversary of the Sewŏl Ferry tragedy to make a stand. They asked the public to join them in fighting for a new law to investigate public endangerment of minors and to prosecute those responsible. The rain that day seemed to match the somber atmosphere. Signs read, “Do you see the tears of the parents who lost their children?” “Do you know the grief of children who lost their siblings?”
