I was on a rather challenging drive on a very windy road, from Durango down the mountain to the coast at Mazatlan. The sight of a lone horse grazing in a pond was hard to ignore. It was such a peaceful scene.

A woman I met in a distant town of Oaxaca, who has spent her entire life making these wonderful black ceramic pots and objects, so much so that the lines and patterns on her cheeks seemed to match the wrinkles and lines on her face.
