In his words.... Protection of and respect for the precious nature that is surrounding us, can be achieved by admiration. The beauty of a species -- whether it is a simple flower, a rare orchid, a beautifully colored butterfly, a scary dragonfly, or a slimy fungus -- is revealed in its details. During my nature walks in Belgium or abroad, I try to capture those details.
If anyone replies to one of my images -- "Hey, wow, I never noticed this before!" I have achieved my goal....
