Planting a Seed

come up with a skill you want to improve in your photography and post a photo to get you started

Think of something you'd like to do with your photography and submit an image which represents that idea. Consider this a before image which gets you started in this new area before you've had time to practice.

Perhaps you wanted to learn more about studio lighting or to find the courage to talk to people and improve your street portrait photography. Or maybe you'd like to practice telling a story with your images.

Perhaps its simply learning all the technical functions of your camera or branching out into a new subject like macro or landscapes?

Next month we will harvest those seeds and see how you've improved.

If you'd like, write in the image description the idea or technique you are working towards.
